Talk to a Teamster Representative. Get informed about your rights and how you and your coworkers can become Teamster members.
Sign an authorization card online or in person with a Teamsters Representative.Gain recognition from the EMRB.
File for recognition with the Employee Management Relations Board (EMRB) once the majority of Unit J Nevada State Workers sign authorization cards.
Gain recognition from the EMRB. The Teamsters are now your representatives and will help negotiate a strong union contract.
Your union contract is negotiated, voted on, and accepted by you and your coworkers. Workers are Teamster members and covered by a Union contract.
