We are the Teamsters

The Teamsters have been in Nevada for close to 100 years with the largest Local in Northern Nevada in Local 533 and the Strongest Public Sector Local in Southern Nevada in Local 14. We have joined together to bring Nevada’s State workers, the best contracts in the State. From building power in  the workplace to utilizing our strength in the legislature, we’re working to win better wages, better benefits, and get workers a voice on the job.

Our strength comes from our members and at the Teamsters, you’re never alone. Our history of success has made us America’s most powerful Union in the nation with over 1.4 million members strong, 200,000 of those in the public sector. In Nevada, the Teamsters represent over 30,000 members statewide and that number continues to grow.
